TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I hold the position of Treasurer of The Hill Apartments Body Corporate Committee.
In the second half of 2016 we called for quotes to paint one of our 3 buildings containing 32 units. Access to this block was extremely difficult with a height restriction for vehicles of 2.1 meters.
Leisuretex Painting Contractors were awarded the contract after receiving 3 quotes. While their proposal was the most competitive of the 3 quotes our decision was more determined by the fact that they would manage the whole project that included the supply of scaffolding for the project. Other contractors submitted paint only quotes and were joined by a 3rd party scaffolding business.
Prior to commencement Leisuretex stepped into the complex’s colour discussions and offered the services of a colour consultant which resolved the owner’s differences while the resulting colour selection modernised an aging 30-year-old building.
While the project timeline hit a few weather obstacles, namely cyclone Debbie, the job was completed in an acceptable time fame with minimum interruption to owner’s lifestyle. Leisuretex even delayed the project to accommodate the Easter period with the limiting of scaffolding.
Changes were made by the committee along the way and these were managed by Leisuretex and variations reasonably priced.
The site workforce were capable, polite and accommodating and expedited their tasks in an efficient and effective manner while working with and around the scaffolders and the gutter guys.
We are extremely happy with the relationship and the finished product and we would not hesitate to employ their services on future projects.

I have pleasure in recommending Scott Burgess and Leisuretex Painting Contractors.
Scott quoted our painting contract around May 2016 and the job was started in February 2017 and completed in May 2017. During the BC approval process Scott kept in touch with us on a regular basis which included attending the site and applying sample colours for the BC to see. He was a pleasure to deal with making my job easy. During the quoting process Scott was punctual and was more than helpful in all the areas of the explanation in quoting repairs and painting. His knowledge in both is outstanding. Nothing was a problem with many changes to scope of works during the quoting period. The price was very competitive, but I must say the service from Scott stood out and definitely sealed the decision to use Leisuretex.

WORKS
The organisation of the works was also outstanding with their onsite supervisors and daily visits from Scott and their own Project Manager. There were a number of concrete cancer spots which were carefully and professionally repaired. They also arranged and organised replacement of guttering which saved us dealing with this directly.
The site organisation and use of a 60 foot Boom along with abseiling was well handled.
All of the workmen were very polite and easy to deal with. They were very efficient and the quality of of work is excellent. The employees reflected the attitude of Scott and Leisuretex.
We had a few variations and the pricing was very fair.
They worked in well with our onsite manager and our manager with them, as nothing seemed a problem.
I have done a lot of large development and have no hesitation is recommending Scott and Leisuretex.

In November 2015 Leisuretex Painting, Tugun, was contracted to do a complete clean and re-paint of the town-house complex, The Parc, 2 Inland Drive, Tugun. The Parc consists of 187, 2 story units.

Leisuretex completed this job on time and on budget. Their workforce was competent, clean and well mannered throughout the entire process. Leisuretex’s project manager along with Scott Burgess played a major role in the successful completion of this large project. As a member of the Body Corp at that time I found Scott very approachable and that no incident or concern from residents or committee was too small for him to take a personal interest in. In every instance Scott was there to resolve any issue in a polite manner and in a timely fashion.

I would not hesitate to recommend Leisuretex Painting as a local company that takes pride in it’s work and is competitive in it’s costing. I would also say that Scott Burgess is a definite asset to the company.
